Subject: Re: [NFBK] NFB-NEWSLINE

I can assure you that those on Android gave up waiting for this since it has been "expected" for years. We use other things for news and use other ways of accessing newsline for those very local publications that are not available any other way. If you are looking for a feature, perhaps a setting that would let you download every issue on the day it comes out at the user specified time and be able to keep it until deleted. The user specified time would help with publications that update all day long. I personally use the podcast version so that each article is downloaded by my aggregator when it comes out. I tried the email version but it would send in the morning and only had one or two articles. When I used a Victor stream, I always listened to the previous day so I had the full paper. As for the downloading and keeping until deleting, this is why I like the podcast way, so if I am sick or not able to get through an issue for a couple of days, then I have not missed that issue. I delete without listening to the articles that I am not interested in (i.e. obits of people I don't know, high school sports).

PS There has been turn-over in Indiana leadership. Is Lee Martin still my newsline contact? The last time I emailed with a problem, I never heard from him.

Greetings Federationists and Friends:

I wanted to ask the probing question to all out there who use NFB-NEWSLINE®. What additional features of the service would you like to see regarding updates to the current system. Please exclude publications in your responses. I am speaking of enhancements to the software. I know many of you are awaiting the Android version that was expected in late Fall; it’s still coming. Thank you for your patience. With the Enhancements in technology over the years, there has to be something that comes to mind for you if said feature were implemented on NFB-NEWSLINE®.

Looking forward to what you have to say!

Have a great evening!

Todd
