Chili Cook Off and Auction

Cost $5 (credit/debt cards can be taken)
Bar is cash ONLY

This event is open to the public. Come and support your local National Federation of the Blind. All proceeds raised helps us support the blind and low vision in our community through several different ways. The first being our BELL (Braille Enrichment for Literacy and Learning) Academy where we teach children 4 to 12 years of age about the importance of Braille and other daily living skills such as cooking and orientation and mobility. Funds also go toward college scholarships for blind and low vision students hoping to expand their knowledge through education. Plus local events and chapter meetings to advocate and educate the public about blindness.

Along with the Auction we are having our Chili Cook Off. Individuals who wish to participate in the cook off must contact me no later than February 19th via text; (502)550-8208 or email; ashley.swafford at nfbky.org with the nickname of your chili (example: Veggie) along with a list of ingredients. No entries will be accepted after the 19th.
