Board of Directors Meeting

September 18, 2025

*	The meeting was called to order by the president at 8:05 PM.

*	A motion was made to approve the board meeting minutes as written
from September 4 by Ashley and seconded by Karen. The motion passed
unanimously.

*	A copy of the detailed treasurer fund statement was sent via email
to the board and will be attached herein as an addendum. A motion was made
to approve the treasurer report by Karen and seconded by Lonnie. The motion
passed unanimously.

 

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

 

Convention Planning:

 

Committee Updates:

 

*	Awards - Karen reports she has received one nomination.
*	Scholarships - No updates
*	Resolutions - Lonnie advised the committee has met and have one
confirmed resolution to recognize the Hilton Garden Inn, Northeast for their
continued support of our convention. He has also asked for additional ideas
from Sandra and we are waiting to hear back from legal of the national
office to determine if we will draft a resolution surrounding SB 181.
*	Constitution - Angela advised she has sent another reminder email to
Mark to review the proposed changes and will advise once she has received
his response.
*	Social - Ashley reports all items have been discussed and we are
prepared for the event.
*	Door Prizes - No updates
*	Sports and Rec - Sandra reports the committee is ready to host the
event "Happy Eat, Happy Feet."
*	Nominating - No update.

 

Cane Drive:

 

*	Jacob has advertised this via the listserv.

 

*	Hearing no further business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at
8:32 PM.
