She brings a rich background in vocational rehabilitation to the position having worked her way up from an administrative assistant to the Division Director of Consumer Services over the past 18 years. The selection process included interviews with the Commonwealth’s blind and visually impaired advocacy groups and she received their unanimous endorsement as well. Allison will officially begin her new role on December 1, 2012.
