National Federation of the Blind of Greater Louisville will be hosting an
advocacy session on <b>Saturday February 16 from 2-4 pm</b> at the Kentucky
School for the Blind (1867 Frankfort Ave). <b>This session is not specific to
any political issue or affiliation.</b> The purpose of this session is to equip
interested participants with the necessary information and resources to better
understand how to advocate on a local, state, and national level. Topics to be
discussed are: individual advocacy in the local community (government,
businesses, school systems, etc.), Kentucky government resources for advocacy
(websites and phone numbers), national government resources for advocacy, and
more. </font></p>
