(March 24, 2014) –</strong><em><span style="font-style: normal;"> Volunteers are needed to assist as Louisville again hosts the National Wheelchair Basketball Association Championships. The event runs April 3-6, at the Kentucky Exposition Center, 937 Phillips Lane. </span></em></span></p>
<p style="line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: small;"><em><span style="font-style: normal;">Louisville Metro Parks & Recreation serves on the local organizing committee for this event, and assists in volunteer coordination. Volunteers can get involved in a variety of ways, including event set-up, cleanup, greeter/registration, scorekeeping, timekeeping, transportation, information booth staffing and general errands. Training and instruction will be provided; no experience is necessary. Individual and group volunteer sign-ups are welcome.</span></em></span></p>
