<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">As shared at our annual staff training yesterday, I wanted to follow up with an email for those staff who are out and were unable to attend. Jack Kennedy has accepted a new position in the non-profit world
and will assume his new position on January 5<sup>th</sup>. His last day with our agency will be Friday, December 19<sup>th</sup> as he will utilize leave time to be with his family during the holidays before he begins his new duties. I want to recognize
Jack for his efforts with the KBE program. The last few years have been exceptionally challenging to KBE with our fiscal shortfalls. Jack handled the cuts graciously and continued to fight for the KBE program and work with each vendor with support and encouragement.
The KBE program is important to our agency and affords great opportunities to individuals interested in entrepreneurship. As with any of us, we can all be replaced but it will not be easy to fill his shoes. We will submit the paperwork to fill his position
as quickly as possible and share statewide once it has posted. Thank you Jack for your dedication and contributions to the Office for the Blind! We look forward to a continued relationship in your new role.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
