</span><a href="http://www.nfb.org/"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The National Federation of the Blind</span></a><span style="font-size:12.0pt"> today applauded the appointment of Neil Romano to the National Council on Disability. Mr. Romano served as Assistant
Secretary of Labor for Disability Employment Policy under President George W. Bush and has also served as a member of the Committee for Purchase from People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled. The appointment was made by Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky
with the endorsement of the National Federation of the Blind and other stakeholders.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
