<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Museum would like to recruit people who are blind or visually impaired to help with museum programming. This is a paid position. As a museum education associate, you will earn $20 an hour, or $40 for a two-hour workshop.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">For example, if we’re teaching what we call Blindness 101, you might speak about your experiences, your challenges, your daily life, how technology affects your daily life, and so on. If we’re teaching a dog guide workshop, you can show
off how you work with your dog, how your dog is trained, and just what happens when the harness comes off. If we’re teaching a braille program, you get to read braille! Most of our workshops take place on Saturday, but there are workshops, tours, and other
programs that happen on weekdays as well. <o:p></o:p></p>
