We are seeking a Voc Rehab Manager to provide management to employees within the <b>
East Jefferson District Section</b>. <br>

Key Responsibilities: <o:p></o:p></p>

Manages and supervises vocational rehabilitation employees to ensure services being provided to consumers comply with all agency policies, state and federal laws and other applicable regulations and policies.

Provides direction in planning, developing, administering and coordinating district services for persons with disabilities.
<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo3">
Provides direction for implementing and maintaining specialized services and program planning for consumers with disabilities involving inter-agency coordination.

Trains staff on program developments, initiatives, affirmative action policies as it relates to consumers with disabilities.

Conducts reviews and monitors program funds for expenditures and budgetary limitations.

Initiates personnel actions, interviews and recommends vocational rehabilitation employment candidates for employment; initiates corrective and/or disciplinary action when appropriate; conducts performance evaluations; and evaluates requests for leave appropriately.

Represents the agency at conferences, community meetings, advisory panels and committees. Makes presentations and conducts workshops at the local and state level for community partners, vendors and employers to enhance resources, develop additional resources
 and increase awareness about vocational rehabilitation programs. <o:p></o:p></li></ul>

 and mobility, social work, special education, education, education with emphasis in vocational counseling or a related field.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
