Please feel free to edit as you see fit.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Sheila and I talked with Jimmy’s wife, Tina yesterday afternoon. Jimmy was moved to the Cardiovascular Unit where he was placed on an ECMO machine. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>This machine is similar to the heart/lung bypass machine used in open heart surgeries but can be used for a longer time. With use of this machine, Jimmy’s condition improved for the first time since his arrival at the hospital on Saturday. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Next week as long as his health remains stable, doctors will consider the much needed surgery to start addressing the repair/s to his heart.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>It is a long road but, as in every journey there has to be a first step.
