We also encourage you out there to share with us any experiences that you’ve had with a great Federationist and community servant, George Stokes who has recently departed. George was one of the very best! We should all get a chance to recognize his numerous contributions within the National Federation of the Blind, the National Federation of the Blind of Kentucky and his outstanding community involvement. Not too long ago George told me that when he was in high school at KSB, he was asked by the Powers That Be not to volunteer for anything else, because he was too involved…funny.
