We are seeking a Voc Rehab Specialist – Certified to provide Personal Adjustment Counseling to consumers referred to the McDowell Center, to include assessment, individual and group counseling, training, and other rehabilitation services to address adjustment
issues related to vision loss. <br>

Key Responsibilities: <u></u><u></u></span></p>

<span lang="EN" style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Provide Personal Adjustment Counseling to consumers referred to the McDowell Center, to include assessment, individual and group counseling, training, and other rehabilitation services to
address adjustment issues related to vision loss. <u></u><u></u></span></li><li class="MsoNormal">
<span lang="EN" style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Communicate on consumer progress with McDowell staff and referring VR counselor through recommendations and updates in progress notes, staff meetings, and written assessment reports, monthly
reports and final reports <u></u><u></u></span></li><li class="MsoNormal">
<span lang="EN" style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Work closely with the voc prep unit team, and provides consultation services to VR staff. Makes recommendations for mental health referrals when needed, and provides updates that are communicated
with the team through progress notes, staff meetings, and written assessment reports, monthly reports and final reports.

<span lang="EN" style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Evaluate medical, psychological, vocational, training and other case records. Develop an individual training plan for consumers based on their specific needs and goals.
