In August, the National Federation of the Blind of Greater Louisville (NFBGL) and the Greater Louisville Council of the Blind (GLCB) held a joint meeting, hosted by NFBGL, at which representatives from TARC requested input related to route changes throughout the fixed-route system. Route changes have now been announced, and are to take effect by January 26, 2025. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN"><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN">GLCB and NFBGL will hold another joint meeting, this time hosted by GLCB, on Friday, January 3 concerning these changes and how they will impact services going forward. Ozzy Gibson, Executive Director of TARC, will be speaking and taking questions that evening.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN"><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN">The meeting will be held at United Crescent Hill Ministries, 150 State Street in Louisville. Doors will open at 4:30 PM; dinner, consisting of roast chicken thighs, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, salad, rolls, and your choice of cherry or apple dump cake for dessert will be served at 5:00 PM. There is no charge for the dinner. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN"><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN">If you cannot attend in person, please join us at 6:30 PM on the KCB Zoom line from any computer, cell phone or landline phone.
