Below is an update from Buffa's boss on her condition.  Feel free to share.  I'm still collecting money to send her a gift and/or gift card . Hello Tonia,

Buffa had surgery on her arm on Monday and was in a great deal of pain after the surgery.  My understanding is that pain management has been an issue, and they have put her on morphine which seems to be helping.

Buffa is currently undergoing surgery on her leg.  They were supposed to do the surgery this morning, but it was postponed until this afternoon.  I'll let you know when I hear anything.

I talked to Buffa's cousin yesterday who said that flowers would probably not be a good idea since there is very little room for them in Buffa's hospital room.  She suggested that, if people wanted to buy something for Buffa, a gift card to Starbucks or a clothing store would be nice.

There is a lady from Buffa's synagogue who is coordinating communication about Buffa's recovery, and she has set up a Care Bridge on her FaceBook page.
