Ian,
I do not know how to change this setting in Google, but I'm assuming it
should be fairly simple. It's probably just a setting in the Google
preferences. I'll take a look at it in a bit. Thanks Dave for you
assistance.

Dav(e/id?) Do you Prefer Dave, or David?
I use an external pop3 / IMAP client so turning that on for me, would be
double trouble. Since it's a GMail thing, I think we might ought to
investigate how to turn it on / off for the GMail users.
Melanie is pretty proficient with her iPhone, so I'm hoping she'll pop back
on with an adviso. I tried to call her to see if she had figured it out
yet, but she hasn't replied.
Ian

I can set your subscription, or anyone elses to give you an acknowledgement
message when you post a message. This can also be the list default, which
it currently is not.

Hopefully, someone will know how it is done, and will share?
Thanks, Dave!

Yes, the gmail default is to not provide you with a copy of the message that
you post to a mailing list. This is a gmail default, and has nothing to do
with how you are reading your e-mail, iPhone, computer etc.
I have been told you can change this behavior, but can't tell you how.

Just an observation,
I know now of 3 people who all use gmail on their iPhone for this list.
Correction, I know of two, and recall another whoose name escapes me.
Is it possible that there are other iPhone / GMail users who are not getting
their responses / replies back?
