[Nfbktad] Plustek Opticbook 3800 Scanner

I tried to do some research on it and found a couple youtube clips, but I
couldn't understand the first guy at all. I wasn't sure if he was speaking
broken English or his native language. As for the second guy, he was
definitely speaking a foreign language, maybe German.

Check out this review, Terrie:
http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/reviews/small-business/3313797/plustek-opticbook-
3800-review/. Looks like three of the four are color, grayscale and black
and white, but it doesn't say what the fourth button is.

I think Tonia has a good idea about the KNFB Reader, or maybe even
TapTapSee. I saw a manual when I was looking last night in PDF, but
couldn't find it today.

Good Luck, Terrie

Todd

Sorry Terrie but I have not heard of this model nor the company who makes
it. You might do a Google search for the manual though. Also, if you have
the KNFB Reader, you might see if it'll read the names of the buttons to
you. The Be My Eyes app could be helpful in this situation too.

Good luck,

Hello!

Are any of you familiar with the Opticbook 3800 scanner made by Plustek? If
so, do you happen to know what the four controls are: on the right of the
unit the control farthest away or toward the back is a small horrizontal
button. There are then three large raised circle buttons arranged
vertically. I forgot to find out when I set the scanner up and now I need to
know.

Thanks for any info anyoen might have.

Best,

Terrie Terlau
