It can be used as a stand-alone scanner, but if you want to view the results
of the scan it must be connected to a computer.

I have never heard of it, but based on the pictures, the price is only for
the camera/stand and the software. It cannot be used without a pc.

Greetings,

Does anyone out there have any experience with the device called ReadDesk? If
so, what are your impressions? Does it work well for someone with no useful
vision? This is sold through ILA and Maxi, but is significantly cheaper on
Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/issist-ReadDesk-Lite-Scanner-Reader-Magnifier/dp/B00BO
TKZVK. Mario, Cindy or Tonia, do you all have any experience with this
device? Anyone?

Thanks,

Todd
