For those who have an iPhone, the app is even better than calling in. It's
very easy to use, and I love the subscription option. The sound is crystal
clear with the voices the phone already has.

Subject: [Nfbktad] NFB-NEWSLINE Kentucky Toll Free Number Usage

Good Morning:

We are reaching out to you this morning to inform you or remind you about
using a local call in number for NFB-NEWSLINE. We are asking for your
cooperation in this matter so that we can minimize the telecom charges that
are incurred through operating the NFB-NEWSLINE audio reading service at no
charge to you. In turn, this will help us to continue the delivery of this
free audio reading service so that you can continue to receive your favorite
news content.

The toll free number is designed for subscribers who do not have a local
call in number in his or her calling area and/or those individuals who are
charged for long distance calls in his or her personal phone plans. There
are several call in numbers around the state and many more in other states.
You may choose whatever call in number that you desire. By clicking on this
link: https://www.nfbnewsline.net/Nl2/NL2LocalAccessLookup.jsp, you can find
a number. Go to the heading subscriber toll free service lookup, Scroll down
or tab to: first edit field and input your area code or any other, move to
the next edit field and input the first three digits of your phone number or
any other phone number, scroll down to last edit field and input the last
four digits of your phone number or any other, then press enter on or tap on
Look It Up link. That's it!

For quick reference, here are a few Local Numbers to choose from: (270)
370-1999 - Elizabethtown, KY, (502) 873-4784 - Louisville, KY, (859)
475-5368, and (606) 766-0282 - Pikeville, KY.

If you do not have a free long distance personal plan, please use or
continue to use the toll free number of 1-888-882-1629 to access the
NFB-NEWSLINE service by touch tone telephone. If you do have a free long
distance plan, we ask you to discontinue use of the toll free number of
1-888-882-1629. Please check with your phone provider to make sure that you
do, in fact, have free long distance; we cannot be responsible for any
charges that may incur.

Thank you very much for your cooperation in working with us to serve you
better.

Best Regards,
