[Nfbktad] Google Docs Question

Hello everyone,

I have never used Google docs. I enrolled in an online class that starts
tomorrow and that has all class materials in Google Docs. I know so far
that alt-ctrl-z turns on screen reader support. I also believe that Chrome
would be my best browser; I got a message to this effect when I used
Internet Explorer to get to the document site. Unfortunately, there is a
weird glitch. When I go to the class page with Chrome, I do not find the
password edit field, and I have used both Jaws 19 and NVDA. When I go to the
class page using Internet Explorer, I do find the password link; in fact, I
find a totally different-looking page. So I can put in my password with
Internet Explorer and get to the Google Docs page, but I can't find the
password field in Chrome so I can't get to the Google documents page with
Chrome. I need to download the documents so that I can study them offline
and I think I need to use Chrome for downloading and using them offline, but
I can't get to the password field with Chrome to get to the documents page.

So, I have a crazy Catch 22 going on here and I hope that someone more
familiar with Google docs can help me figure out how to download these
things.

If anyone can help, I will be reachable all day tomorrow at:

Phone: 502.551.6382

I would have prepared for this in advance but was just invited to join this
class today.

Thanks for any help anyone can give!!!! I would really appreciate advice
from someone who knows more about Google docs than I do!

Warmly,

Terrie Terlau
