Good Afternoon,
I know many of you listened in on the Presidential Release last night. You
heard President Riccobono talk about an accessible absentee voting system.
Although I am not at liberty to discuss the company being considered here
in Kentucky because the contract has not been signed, I can tell you with
great confidence that we should be able to make an announcement by weeks
end. Hopefully we will be able to offer a couple of training sessions to
familiarize voters with the system. Lou Ann Blake from our National Office,
Jared Dearing from the Kentycky Board of Elections, and several from the
Office of Protection and Advocacy have all been working to make sure our
voting rights are met. I’ll post updates just as soon as they are
available.
