You are cordially invited to attend this festivity. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Date: Saturday, October 27<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Time: 10 am -1 pm<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Place: LBPH<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Two featured speakers at the celebration will be Karen Keninger, who became director of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, Library of Congress, on March 26, 2012, and Heather Wandell, Maryland author of Monkey Business: 37 Better Business Practices Learned Through Monkeys. We will also celebrate and recognize the numerous contributions of LBPH volunteers.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The new superintendent of the Maryland State Department of Education, Doctor <span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif";color:black'>Lillian M. Lowery, will also attend this celebration. We need to let Dr. Lowery know how important LBPH is to the blind. We need lots of blind persons in attendance to communicate this message.
