For many years now I have had joint physical and joint legal custody of my child. The custody is divided into both parameters being that the physical custody resides on your visitation rights and the legal custody on decisions pertaining to your child. Regarding the legal custody that you have, it is usually indicative of the fact that both parents make the decisions jointly when it comes to anything pertaining to your child. In my experience is anything that has been made solely by one parent, the other parent thus has a right to challenge if there is a disagreement about said decision. In your custody agreements is there anything in writing that gives you the joint legal custody he of your child?
