Shauna focuses on nutrition and physical activity education but specializes in food safety. She is part of a team that delivers food safety training to growers (GAP and FSMA’s Produce Safety Rule), food manufacturers (Cottage Food Law, and FSMA’s Preventive Controls for Human Food), ServSafe proctor/instructor, and has been teaching food preservation since 2014. Shauna is an Affiliate Agent to the UMD Department of Food & Nutrition Science, and board member to the Partnership for Food Safety Education.
