President Millie Rivera has graciously offered to host us at her home for a potluck and movie night. Please bring a dish to share. If you are not sure what to bring, please reach out to Millie and she will be happy to brainstorm with you. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>After dinner we plan to watch a new documentary, unseen, which is a film about an aspiring social worker, Pedro, who faces restrictions as a blind, undocumented immigrant to get his college degree. But when attaining his dreams leads to new challenges, he’s faced with looming uncertainty. Using experimental cinematography, unseen reimagines film accessibility through an audio-centric experience. The version we will see will include </span>open audio description. Audio description narrates some visual elements of a video to paint a more complete picture for a blind audience.
