[Nfbmdtlc-chapter] MTA Transportation Budget Hearing

Hello all,

This is an update about the budget hearing that will be held on MTA transportation this Wednesday, March 4, 2015.

The hearing will start approximately 1 PM. Do you think it will be held in room 142, in the house building located at 6 Bladen Street, Annapolis Maryland.

You will be testifying before the House subcommittee for transportation and environmental affairs. Again, the hearing is scheduled to start at 1 PM. If you are planning to testify you should arrive prior to 12:30 PM, so you can sign up to testify.

We do not know what time the hearing will end. If you are planning to take mobility I would not make your pick ups no earlier than 4:30 PM. To come back to Baltimore. We need as many people as possible who can go and testify on behalf of MTA and those who use public transportation, as well as mobility. We need to stress that we cannot afford for their budget to be cut. In addition, if you do use mobility, you need to stress how it is of vital importance that mobility needs more money to buy more vehicles and supply more customer service agent and more drivers. And express how the service has grown in demand and it is not able to provide for The 6000+ regularly scheduled rides it has each and every day. This does not count the additional rides that are scheduled.
