We have two important jobs that must be done. First, we need people to come
to Annapolis on March 16 to oppose HB349, a bill that will cause workers at
BISM to lose their jobs because of changes requested in the procurement
process. The hearing begins at 1pm in the Lowe House Office Building,
Health and Government Operations Committee. If you can come, send me an
email off list.

Tomorrow, March 10, call or email the following members of the Education
Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee. Tell them to restore
funding for LBPH. They will be making their decisions by Wednesday.

The phone number is either 410-841 plus the extension, or 301-858 plus the
extension. Here are the extensions:

                Adrienne Jones 3391

                Benjamin Barnes 3046

                Barrie Ciliberti 3080

                Shelly Hettleman 3833

                Marc Korman 3649

                Barbara Robinson 3520

                David Vogt 3118

Remember, if you are sending email, the address is
FirstName.Lastname at house.state.md.us
<mailto:FirstName.Lastname at house.state.md.us> .

Thanks for your help. Let's make sure blind people have what we need.
