[Nfbmdtlc-chapter] Join the TLC Chapter on Friday, 10/27/17 for a Meet the Blind Month activity

Hello Everyone,

Tomorrow night, Friday, 10/27/17,  the TLC chapter will be volunteering at the Trunk or Treat event at the Freedom Church located at 5310 Hazelwood Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21206 as part of our Meet the Blind Month activities.

Jen and I will be arriving around 5:30 in order to setup for the event that starts at 6:00 PM and runs until 8:00 PM. The church is requesting that volunteers arrive at 5:30. However, I know due to work, you may not be able to arrive until around 6:00 PM.

During the event we will be passing out candy to the children and distributing NFB literature including Braille alphabet cards. There will be a table setup for the NFB in the lobby.

It would be fantastic if you can come join us and help spread the positive message of blindness to the community.

When entering the church drive way, you may be stopped since parking is limited. If you are stopped, tell the parking attendant or police officer that you are with the TLC chapter and that you are volunteering for the event.

If you are able to make it to the TLC chapter Meet the Blind Month event, please let me know by sending an e-mail to swhite at nfb.org or texting 410-868-9519. This will allow me to give the church a count of volunteers.
