[NFBMDTLC-Chapter] NFBMD Day in Annapolis Fact Sheets & Registration Reminder (Deadline to Register January 10, 2026)

Colleagues,

Attached please find our 2026 legislative priorities for our 2026 Day in
Annapolis.  You will find five documents included:

1.	Complete 2026 NFBMD Fact Sheet Package, containing cover and all
four fact sheets (for distribution to offices who request them when
finalizing appointments)
2.	Fact Sheet on Accessible Autonomous Vehicles to improve
transportation for individuals with disabilities
3.	Fact Sheet on Accessible Absentee Telephone Voting System for voters
who are blind or otherwise print disabled
4.	Funding the Independent Living for Older Blind program
5.	Funding for the Center for Excellence in Nonvisual Accessibility

Registration is very important so that we can:

*	Assign individuals to teams that meet with their own elected
officials to the maximum extent possible;
*	Schedule and allocate appropriate transportation resources;
*	Streamline (and hopefully shorten) the meal ordering process for the
debriefing meeting; and
*	Enable participants to pre-pay for their meals.

Please note that you must pay for dinner in advance.  Dinner will cost $32
if paying via PayPal / credit card.  Those using Zelle, check, and cash will
receive a $2 discount for a cost of $30 per person.
