Music Therapy is a researched based system of clinical techniques for sensorimotor training, speech and language, and cognitive training. This program is open to all Marylanders but will have a particular emphasis on the visually and physically impaired communities. </div><div><br></div><div>The focus of this program will be to explain the basics of music therapy, how it can benefit many people, and how, in particular, it impacts the visually impaired community. </div><div><br></div><div>This program is being presented by C.J. Shiloh, MT-BC, founder of Annapolis Music Therapy Service. Ms. Shiloh is a Board Certified Music Therapist, is a founding member of the Online Conference for Music Therapy and is currently serving as the Government Relations Chair-Elect of the Mid-Atlantic Region of the American Music Therapy Association. She has over 20 years of experience, is a bold advocate for those with disabilities.
