Another Michigan system has joined Google Transit and this one's big. You can now get door to door directions for the Detroit city system. This now means that one can get directions around the Detroit area using Google Transit, since both DDOT and SMART are participating organizations.
If you're new to all of this, Google Transit gives you public transit directions from many cities around the world. Currently in Michigan Detroit, Lansing, Ann Arbor, and Holland are available.
It's making public transit information available in a much more accessible form.
