That's funny that your sending this because a friend of mine and I were
having a discussion about how we can access certain parts of the phone but
not the ones you mentioned. I hope they take this letter into consideration.

Subject: [nfbmi-talk] LG Phone Accessibility

Dear Customer Service,

Let me begin by acknowledging and commending your company for working to
make LG phones accessible to blind users. Your initial efforts have been
quite helpful to me.

Now, I must say that I am disappointed that your successive phone models
have made very few meaningful improvements in accessibility. Such things as
ringtones, downloads, calendars, calculators text messages, sent calls,
received calls and more are still not accessible to me, though I pay the
same for my phone service as those who may enjoy these features. I would
like to request that you finish the good start you have made and make the
entire phone accessible.

I look forward to a positive response. My contract with Verizon is up and I
am entitled to an upgrade. I would like to get another LG phone. I would
encourage my blind friends to get LG phones, also, if the phones were more
accessible.

Thank you for taking time to consider this letter.

Best Regards,

Fred Wurtzel, President

National Federation of the Blind of Michigan
