Hey, for all you thrill seekers and adventure lovers...I am
making arrangements for a skydive jump in May. I know that
the Commissioners and Cannon have told the Center "never
again" to this, but who needs their approval? I say we do
it ourselves for the sheer thrill andthe show that while
they may not sanction such an event for whatever reasons
does not rule us out. I say we make our own news headlines
without them and make sure we mention that they don't
support it. Next thing you, the Commissions going to say
that blind folk shouldn't walk without a sighted guide. Oh,
that's right! Our fearless leader alredy exemplifies that!
I feel like a radical from the 60's fighting for "power to
the people". What do you say, folks? Any takers for a
blind jump? I know of at least four students, besides me,
that are going to do it. If they tho't an "NFB Dance" was
an issue, wait'll they see us crazy blind folk jump out of a
perfectly good airplane!
