[nfbmi-talk] Dallas for Convention Via Amtrak

According to the discussion last night, you should be able to get on the train at any point on the route, or at least I am hoping this is the case because I already committed myself to this deal. I was already thinking about taking the train, so if I can somehow get a cheaper rate by going with a group, then that sounds like a good deal to me.

If you’re getting on the train in Kalamazoo though, you might want to make sure that you get on the train that originates from Dearborn and not Lansing as they are two different trains. They will both get you to Chicago in time to pick up the connecting train to Dallas, but it is possible they might not have a seat for you if you get on the wrong train. I remember all of my trains being extremely full when I took the train to Dallas two years ago.
