Hey, J.J. Just wanted to keep you posted on what's up here
at the MCBTC. After we met on Thursday evening, I was
"approached" by Bruce on Friday in the hallway, where he
basically asked me if any "staff" knew of you guys coming
and doing a "presentation". I told him it wasn't a
presentation, just a couple of my new friends coming to
visit and show off some techy gadgetry for some students who
had interest in purchasing them. I also told them that I
was not aware that I had to have permission to have guests
on site as long as protocol was followed for checking in,
etc. I think the concern was more that this was an "NFB
thing". I didn't have the heart to tell him that SEVEN
students signed on with the NFB that night! With the
tagline of the NFB being, "We're changing what it means to
be blind in Michigan", I'm saying that the new MCB tagline
should be, "We're changing what it means to be a firearm in
Michigan" or "We're changing...our story". So the MCBTC new
tagline will be, "We're changing what it means to be a blind
student at the Training Center". We will continue to
perservere for justice, equality and neutrality as best we
are able. ---Roxanna Mann, Empowered & Informed Student at
the MCBTC
