Hey members and friends,
I have arranged to begin our birding by ear sessions on Tuesday July 27 at 2p.m. We will be meeting in a classroom at the Environmental Interpretive Center which is located on the campus of University of Michigan Dearborn, 4901 Evergreen. We will be learning common Michigan birds and hopefully finish our time together with a walk in the natural area behind the center. It will be challenging given the time of day and even the time of year, but wwe will listen to identify birds which we are learning. Please join us if you think that you have any interest. You may be pleasantly surprised by the joy found in recognizing a part of your surroundings which once was thought only available by sight. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
