Memo: On OMA, FOIA and May 3, 2010 MCB Illegally Closed Meeting

 

Colleagues and Interested Parties:

 

 

This is where FOIA and the OMA overlap. After going through the recording several times of the May 3, 2010 “special meeting” of MCB Barbara Schmidt cited this very section of the attached Attorney General’s opinion (Section 8 H of FOIA) as the reason for closing the meeting.

 

Thus she is either a fool or willfully violates the A.G.’s office in making this ludicrous determination as it is on the A.G.’s web site which I assume she can indeed read.
