Hi Larry,

Thanks for sending out the agenda for this meeting. A couple of things concerned me as I read over it. First, it mentioned something about Statewide Transition (MCB Inclusion). Does this mean there is a possibility of the Michigan Commission for the blind merging with Michigan Rehabilitation Services?

The second thing that concerned me as I read over the agenda was the item about preparation for an order of selection. It does not surprise me that they would consider going to an order of selection considering our current economic conditions, but I am surprised that it has not been discussed among any of the consumer organizations. It has been a while since I read over this section of the Rehabilitation Act, so I am not quite sure what it has to say about it, but I thought that it would at least include some kind of statewide public hearing for consumers to voice their opinion on this matter.

I did not know this meeting would be taking place tomorrow. Where is the location of this meeting? Is there a call in number for those who cannot make this meeting? It seems to me that this would be an important meeting for us to attend.

Thanks,
Elizabeth
