formatting numbers
It is best just to leave a space between numbers and sets of numbers. For
example when I write out a full telephone number I do this:
4 space 1 space 0 comma 7 space 4 space 3 comma 2 space 7 space 9 space 0
comma

Hi Bob,
Yes, I like the new Flint online part. Makes the paper more diverse. The
other feed isn't perfect but I personally can deal with it.
We are trying to beef up the local channel.
I know you can put .txt and word documents on the local channel.
Please tell me if I am correct with the following --
1. numbers should be like, phone 2, 3, 3, and so forth or
2. is it better to put a space between each number?
3. Things like budgets will have to be reformatted in a linear fashion like
rehabilitation teaching Year:2010
total 2 million dollars
Please advise. I was real sick when they had the last seminar and never got
any updated info on things. The person that took my place fell down the
steps so was sort of out of commission a bit.
Also, when you get time, I can get the nfb newsline pobatle news to work
but podcasts are beyond me. I would like to be able to help others learn to
recieve content automatically on their computers.
Well, we have a lot of work to do here.
I hate to see newsline go, I depend on it to learn about what is going on
around here and learn everything from info on vaccum cleaners to what is
the latest camcorder, science and health and even healthy recipes for those
of us who are mainly vegan. Newsline has truly expanded my world for me--I
had a fashion designer who is from NYC visit me and wants to help the blind
there. and 2 of us about 9 years ago even sky jumped to promote Newsline
and this man's business.
Best,
Georgia
