Helloall,
I think that the issue of blind people not working is multi faceted.  Many
people don't have the skills they need to work.  They really don't believe
in themselves and don't know how to sell themselves.  After people sit at
home for a long time, I think it saps your strength in a way.  I know that
because I have had a problem with balance,, I fall quite often.  I have
allowed myself to stay in and not travel.  Fear sets in, then. 
Just some thoughts.

Christy, I fully aggree!  Most folks it seems don't realize that we can and
should work.  Sence they don't get it, well, many are taught to expect not
to work.  
Intelligence is always claimed but rarely proven!
