[nfbmi-talk] Fw: FW:Response to: foia Canon stuff and more

Hi Joe,

It is indisputable what you say about the present state of affairs at MCB.
What I can say is that Michigan pays well and why shouldn't we have those
good jobs. I am not in favor of leaving a good job because the boss is a
tyrant. Life changes and so do tyrants. I say get the job, hang in there
until the dust clears. Find common cause with other progressive employees
and form a cell of positive thinking people who will be ready to blossom
when the springtime comes. Most states and certainly not private agencies
pay as well as MCB for teachers and counselors. I know, I have worked in
other states and have friends in most of the others. There is New York,
California and a few others that pay well but the majority do not.

We need positive, enthusiastic, experienced people to serve blind people
here.

"Deep in my heart, I do believe that we shall overcome some day."

Warmest Regards,

Fred

In other words I'm not going to pay this scofflaw institution money for
anything that is rightfully the public domain and that should and is to be
made available to anyone regardless as to race, color, creed, disability and
so on and so forth. And, Scott I'm going to raise hell and I'm going to give
and dissh information to all sorts of news media as I've already done in
these regards, and I'm going to use these list serves, and I'm going to
continue to file numerous complaints with various public bodies; and I'
going to ask that individuals and groups do the same: and, oh my have to
take a breath as this is kind of hypo manic, I'll admit that, but, the hell
with it too.

I've got to take a step back here Scott. You're question is ernest. I've
been fighting this access war for decades and no need to take it out on you
at all or anyone else, but please understand I'm frustrated.

Regardless the rights to public information are clear, they are very clear
indeed. you and I as blind folks have the right under the ADA alone to get
information in a timely and most accessible manner from any entity of state
or local government under Title II, of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Yet, look at my fowards and post iin these regards! DELEG, Cannon, and
others squirrel away information. Shit they can't even foward minutes of
simple meetings in accessible format (simple e-mail) in a timely manner and
with consistency, and sometimes within a decade! How freakin' nuts is this
eh?

Ok my point is made and made once again. The evil and the illegalities are
munerous and cdocumented in these posts and others. I'l not continu on list
but wwill for informational purposes off list if you wish.

Joe
