Camp Daggett Hosts Blind Campers to Tackle Obstacles

The Michigan Commission for the Blind is hosting a getaway for 18 visually impaired teens from across the state.

 

The teens at Camp Daggett will learn useful team buliding skills in the work place and in social situations.

 

Today's events included the high ropes course and climbing wall.

 

The teens learned trust and teamwork as they climbed high above the ground with nothing but the help of voices from the ground guiding them.

 

The hope is they learn the skills needed to help them succeed on their own.
