[nfbmi-talk] to hold a candle, Part 2

Yes, I wasn't blind when I did that in my youth. But we did have to light
candles and snuff them out after mass high on the wal. They were mounted
with sconces and we lit them with extended equipment with a bees wax taper.
The other side of this contraption had a concave, bell shaped item for
snuffing out candles.

There was always bees wax that dripped down on our cassocks.

By the way Christine and her husband did attend old St. Mary's for a funeral
with me.

Dough, her husband commented on how beutiful that old church is.

I do digress though and Chris' description was trully inspiring and very apt
for explaining the thing to a person who is congenitally blind.

I could see it too in my minds eye.

It was a very nice Christmas gift for all of us.

Peace,

Joe
