Wednesday, February 16, 2011 1:32 PM EST
Two Clyde Township men have been arraigned on charges of armed robbery and home invasion after an incident Tuesday, Feb. 8, where they held a blind man
captive in his own home.
Robert Allen Williams, 24, and David Allen Williams, 20, were arrested late Tuesday.
According to Michigan State Police, the two men broke into the home of a 64-year-old Clyde Township man at about 2:45 a.m. and wouldn’t allow him to leave
until he gave them money.
The men wouldn’t allow him to leave and also destroyed his phone before the left.
They were arraigned Wednesday, Feb. 9, in Allegan County District Court. The Williams, who are cousins, were also charged with unlawful imprisonment and
interfering with electronic communication.
Both pleaded not guilty to all charges.
