Okay, Larry, all right I'm totally blind, okay. I can't see at all and the something you got understand that to a totally blind person I can't see anything, I can't see gestures, it doesn't matter to me. You see that's what I'm saying that you can do body language nod a head and say what you're doing, you know. So it will be like you're describing what you're doing so that way you can benefit both that blind like me and somewhat sided which is you. So there you go, you know. I mean you can't dismiss what I'm saying here because for someone like me who is basically hearing okay just get use to it that's not acceptable. All right, and I'm looking a person to say how I fee, and I'm not mad at you or anything but I mean, come on now. I mean, I understand your situation but you have to understand mine. Okay? All right. So, I mean, that makes sense. See I don't think you're thinking of others. I just think you think

> Oh Tonya, it sure does matter! I always assume that everyone is using several different visual cues at once! I have4 no sight but yet i have trained myself to use many cues bartly because of my daughter. Some of the more subtle cues like brow lifting or blushing can say a lot! Us blind people can miss out on a whole lot of communication done with looks or gestures that never get translated into language. A persons tone of voice can convey one thing but there looks and gestures can mean something entirely different! In every day life we may be able to ignore body language some but in meetings of any importance like commission meetings or job interviews, body language is very inportant! If you can't see they'res, pay attention to yours. That certainly matters! According to some studies which I could look up if necessary, body language along with looks plays as much as 70% of all communication. So, you sure don't want to just ignore it especially when you're butt is on the line! I have been known to ask friends after meetings what sort of body language was used. You sure can be surprised sometimes!
