Dear Pat Cannon:

During the Sunday morning session at the Operator's Workshop, Constance Zanger announced that the next training program
will be conducted in 3 segments.

1. 2 weeks of Randolphh-sheppard training by BEP staff.

2. 5 weeks of foodservice training by McVety and Associates.

3. 2 weeks of vending machine training by Bill Butler.

I would like to confirm that this is correct. I would like to know the date of this training? Has the Elected Operator's
Committee actively participated in the planning of this training? I would like to know a breakdown of the cost of each session and
the breakdown of how these costs were arrived at. Is this part of a larger contract? Is this being done on an hourly basis or some
other arrangement? Are these the only contracts with McVety and Bill Butler? What other contracts exist with each, if any?

I would like to know if there will be another training program this fiscal year and whether the plan is to conduct that
training in the same manner. Please provide the above information via email. Thank you for providing this information.

The primary goal of the Commission for the Blind is the gainful employment of Michigan's blind citizens. This is my
primary goal as a Commissioner.

Sincerely

Larry Posont, Commission for the Blind Board Member
