Marcus,  If you go to this link, you ought to be able to find out about 
several phones, apple and otherwise. If you decide on an Iphone there is a 
book entitled Getting in Touch with the Iphone available in several 
different format from National Braille Press.  Here's a link about a seminar 
which will take place next Thursday through the Lighthouse for the Blind in 
San Fransisco.

The next Lighthouse Technology Seminar will compare and contrast the various 
cell phones that are available for use by the blind. This takes place
