Donna, I agree with you whole-heartedly.  Whether he's Allen Harris, Fred 
Wurtzle or Larry Posont, or others in the movement, these are pillars in our 
movement and are revered in my mind as people I look to and that future 
generations should have utmost respect short of God.  BTW, I miss you last 
week, Donna and hope you and Marla are doing well.

For the record: I think it rude and uncalled for that anyone would have the
nerve to publicly condemm Fred Wurtzel. I have been in Michigan for twenty
five years and I can honestly say that in all that time I have never known a
person to work more tirelessly, steadfastly, and intentionally to change and
improve situations for all blind people. It is an unnecessary waste of time
and energy to even have to read such posts. If anyone out there believes
that Fred is not deserving of this abuse and criticism I wish they would
join me in saying so. I could go on and on about all the efforts Fred makes
to help blind people, but for tof you whose you who know him this is not
news to you you for the privalege of speaking up for Fred Wurtzel,
