Accessibility Comments
This is extremely accessible, and the level and quality of the VoiceOver
support
would suggest that it's a result of awareness and effort on the developer's
part.
All of the text-based information is fully accessible, and unlike some
weather apps
is read by VoiceOver in a way that is very clear and easy to understand.
The only minor gripe that I have, is that sighted users are able to swipe
between
days or hours when viewing day or hourly overviews in the forecast area of
the app.
There appears to be no way to replicate this with VoiceOver, so you have to
go back
to the previous page which lists days or hours, and then double-tap on the
one that
you want. It would be nice to be able to use the 3-fingered swipe to more
quickly
navigate this area of the app. Or perhaps to simply have next and previous
buttons
on these pages. However, you can still access all of the information, it
just takes
a few extra taps.
Highly recommended!
VoiceOver Performance
VoiceOver reads all page elements.
Button Labelling
All buttons are clearly labelled.
Usability
There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy
to deal
with.
