Hi Donna,

I completely agree with you. No one should be so rude to criticize Fred Wurtzel. I too agree that he has worked tirelessly and persistently to change situations for blind individuals especially within the state of Michigan.

As stated before this listserv should not be a place for individuals to criticize other people but for a place to share our ideas and opinions on how to change what it means to be blind in the state of Michigan. How many times does this have to occur until we truly take action about this? We should not tolerate those who bully individuals on a public listserv.

Diana Mohnke

For the record: I think it rude and uncalled for that anyone would have the
nerve to publicly condemm Fred Wurtzel. I have been in Michigan for twenty
five years and I can honestly say that in all that time I have never known a
person to work more tirelessly, steadfastly, and intentionally to change and
improve situations for all blind people. It is an unnecessary waste of time
and energy to even have to read such posts. If anyone out there believes
that Fred is not deserving of this abuse and criticism I wish they would
join me in saying so. I could go on and on about all the efforts Fred makes
to help blind people, but for tof you whose you who know him this is not
news to you you for the privalege of speaking up for Fred Wurtzel,
